GroupIT imports bank statement and cashbook data from any bank and finance system and includes the ability to read data directly from an external database.

Additional data fields can be derived from lookup data or external data tables to improve the automated reconciliation rates and reporting.  Contra transactions can be automatically matched.

GroupIT includes a range of facilities to support manual matching such as locate variance and locate excess.  Reconciled transactions, whether reconciled automatically or manually, can be unreconciled.

Non-balancing groups can be matched through the automatic creation of “balancing items” depending upon user permissions.  The matched groups that resulted in a balancing item can be viewed on screen.
